A Memorial Event to celebrate mum's life will be held at Toddington Village Hall, Leighton Road, Toddington, Bedfordshire, from 12 noon on Tuesday, 15th March 2011. Mum will be laid to rest in The Garden of Remembrance at Toddington Cemetery at 2pm. All and flowers* most welcome. Black optional - blue preferred. (At mum's request) The event will be an informal gathering and light buffet lunch, where we can share our many memories. There will be a short time before lunch where there will be an opportunity to listen to specific thoughts from family and friends. (Contributions to this have now been received) *A commemorative bench plaque will be placed in Toddington Cemetery later in the year close to mum's final resting place. Contributions for those who would wish to remember her in this way, can be sent to a dedicated account directly (please contact Malcolm for details) or be made at the memorial event. I look forward to seeing you there. Please Note: There are plenty of parking spaces at the venue. The Cemetery, where there are limited spaces, is a 7-10 minute walk from the Hall. Cars will be available for those who would have difficulty with the walk. (Please don't let it rain!) ANOTHER BIG THANK-YOU Thank you to everyone who came to Mum's memorial event on the 15th.
